'Flirt' was a series
of polaroids by Jemima Stehli that were censored by The Cab Advertising
Committee at The Public Carriage Office. A series of photographs in a
grid pattern, 'Flirt' showed a picture of Jemima's legs. Intended to mirror
the very type of advertising that her piece was replacing in the flip-up
seats, the Advertising Committee deemed them overtly sexual and demanded
that they be withdrawn.
